Santa Ana

Located in the vicinity of Cala Mararella, in the south of the island, Santa Ana comprises a small Menorcan country house and a few stables. Surrounded by a pine forest these constructions rise in the traditional way, with hard limestone walls or exposed stone on its toughest facade and “marés” stone, soft limestone for other paraments, partitions and flooring and roofing boards.

 This traditional mode of construction will remain in the proposal as a key priority. The materials will be recovered, to keep the image as true to the original obtained from local artisan processes following traditional methods.
