Known as "Casa Squella", it is one of the emblematic buildings dated between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries of the heart of Ciutadella. It is located in the medieval Old Town, with irregular plot and narrow streets. However, the core of this building could be treated as before the sixteenth century, since you can see a basilical plan, a couple of Gothic arches and ridge vaults, of what could have been a religious building that subsequently gave rise to the palace we know now.

We find a Neoclassical inspired ornamentation on the facade, given the way it is composed symmetrically and monumentally, with padding around the access door and the main balcony. These elements, highlighting the play of Gothic pilasters, the use of earth colors and the arrangement of the central body, present characteristics of the Italian Baroque, a possible country of origin of the family.
